The Service Strategist’s Mission

We know the feeling and struggle of keeping a business together and how easily the whole thing can fall apart. How this thought must dominate your every waking moment. But that is exactly why we are here today, to show you that it doesn’t have to be a constant uphill battle. By deploying the right business strategies, and adjusting the way we think, your business can transform into a smooth as silk operation.
Our mission is to provide you with effective business resources, mentor you through hard-to-make decisions, and point you in the right direction so your business can grow faster and higher!
We have been in your shoes, walked the path of a small business, fallen into costly pitfalls along the way, climbed our way back out of multiple money holes, and course-corrected, only to end up where we started. We want you to learn from our mistakes! It took us a whole lot of time, money, testing, and risk to develop our successful business processes. When running our trades company, we wish we had someone to advise us on the dos and don’ts of business because it would have saved us a ton of cash from our failed attempts to first grow. We have created a simple visual that models the growth patterns of a business. Below is how it typically plays out.

Originally, the dynamic couple founded the successful heating & cooling company Donaldson Home Service which they still operate to this day. This HVAC firm burst onto the London Ontario market in 2013 where they redefined what exceptional customer service means in the trades industry. From there, they decided to impart what they have learned to other business owners like themselves and share the boons of a well-organized company.

After becoming inspired by his own mentors, Jamie decided to throw his hat into the ring, and become a mentor himself. His ultimate goal is to make the trades a better place for both clients and owners alike! The Service Strategist’s mission is to keep you accountable for your business’s success. We will help you overcome the pitfalls and pain points of growing a small business through our team of mentors and specialists.
